HPCM Error: "HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found. Action aborted" when Deploying an HPCM Application from EPMA (Doc ID 1552035.1)

Symptoms

On newly installed Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management (HPCM) system, when trying to deploy an application from Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA) the following error message is displayed:

"HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found. Action aborted."

This error is reported in EPMA.log:
