NQODBC Error Occurred During Authentication When Users Login to Analytics

You get an authentication error when you login to the Analytics 11g application with a valid user and password.
In the WebLogic Console, the user name and password were verified when you drilled down on the myrealm security realm and checked the valid users. The Enterprise Manager home page is showing all components 100% running.
The following error is recorded in the latest saw log when you try to login:
"An error occurred during authentication. Try again later or contact your system administrator.
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLDriverConnectW).
State: IM002. Code: 10040. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: IM002] [nQSError: 10040] The requested data source name is either not found, incomplete, or incorrect. (IM002)"
