'ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed' When Running Export or 'ORA-03114: not connected to Oracle' When Logging on to DRM (Doc ID 1554678.1)

Symptoms

Possible symptoms are:

1. The error following error is seen when trying to run a book of DRM exports (or possibly just a single export). There was an unexpected error. The server returned an error processing the action: Run Book. Error message: ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed

2. When attempting to logon to DRM an error is seen that says: The server returned an error processing the action: GetQueryDefs. Error message: ORA-03114: not connected to Oracle

If the ORA-03114 error is seen when upgrading the DRM repository then please also see note 1557765.1.

Changes

If this has suddenly started happening then there may have been a recent increase in the number of sessions or processes that are being created on the Oracle database instance where the DRM schema is hosted i.e. more schemas are being actively used on this Oracle database instance.
