Symptoms

Undertaking "Maintainance" installation of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) 11.1.2.3 on an exisiting EPM 11.1.2.1 returns error:

There are existing components that are disabled for maintenance install. Please, review the reason why the components are disabled, resolve issues and retry maintenance install.

The Installer does not allow the user advance any further.
