Purpose

This document intends to address and answer some frequently asked questions about the OBIEE temporary "temp" files.  This document will collate and expand on some of the documentation which may be located in disparate locations of the documentation stack.

Scope

This document scope is for OBIEE Administrators and System Administrators or anyone whose function it may be to to deploy and administer Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.

The intention is to cover the OBIEE System Components, not the Java components running within WebLogic Server or Websphere.
