Using Oracle Exalytics with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 220.127.116.11.2 and Windows Active Directory (AD) Authentication.
In this environment, there is a BigIP server set up at front end to act as proxy server (virtual host name) to route traffic from Primary Prod node (P1) to failover node (P2).
Servers are set up for Active/Passive configuration.
AD is also set up in a cluster at back end with two AD servers - one is primary, other is secondary. Two AD servers are "AD1" and "AD2."
When the traffic is routed to failover server, (AD2), OBIEE login takes 5 - 10 minutes.
If connection comes through primary server, (AD1), login succeeds in 10 seconds or less.
Other Exalytics servers set up with same authentication providers and OBIEE, do NOT exhibit this login delay.
Problem is limited to this one failover server.
