Essbase Not Starting Using OPMN, Receive Fatal Error: "Cannot open essbase.log file" (Doc ID 1574200.1)

Symptoms

Essbase is not starting using OPMN. When tryint to start Essbase using opmnctl startproc ias-component=Essbase1, the following error is shown:


Failed to start managed process after the Maximum retry limit Log: /oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/diagnostics/logs/OPMN/opmn/console~EssbaseLnx~EssbaseAgent~AGENT~1.log
