Open Button is Greyed Out and User is Unable To Open OBIEE Repository in Online Mode (Doc ID 1598325.1)

Symptoms

When a user tries to open the OBIEE Repository in online mode from the application server where the OBIEE client is installed, they are unable to click the "Open" button.

The Open button is grayed out, disabled, as shown in the image below.

 

Changes

 OBIEE BI server and OBIEE Client Tools are on different machines.
