How To Configure The SQL Authenticator With OBIEE 11g 11.1.1.6.6 and Later (Doc ID 1599590.1)

As a result of a tighter web catalog validation introduced in OBIEE  11.1.1.6.6 and later, users in the SQL Authenticator (database) are not able to log in to Analytics.
This document addresses that issue and covers the configuration steps needed to solve it.  This document also includes information that will be included in a future version of the post-11.1.1.7.0 documentation.

Scope

This document is intended for OBIEE System Administrators configuring and using OBIEE 11.1.1.6.6 and later with the Weblogic SQL Authenticator.  You may require the assistance of the Database Adminstrator (DBA) to complete these steps.
