Implementing Oracle Financial Analyzer (OFA). Source system is Oracle EBS R12.1.3.
To have hierarchy for Chart of Accounts (COA) based on value set in Oracle EBS. Hence values have been put in the file file_glacct_segment_config_ora.csv as part of the configuration.
It is understood that this file needs an AGGREGATE LINE where CHART_OF_ACCOUNT_ID = AGGREGATION.
By default the value is set as Y from segment1 to segment 6 like "AGGREGATION, Y, , Y, , Y, , Y, , Y, , Y".
- What is the significance of the aggregation line?
- What will happen if I choose to put Y on all segment or just on segment 2 and segment 8. (We have 10 segments in our COA)?
