Client uses a Date Dimension table that provides them with their date information.
- The formula is using a hierarchy.
- Most dates work fine; however; under certain conditions, the "Ago" function for week or year produces null values in time periods that data does in fact exist.
- The report uses a simple formula of 'if not null then 1 else 0' of a field to identify the service request ids. The formula in question then looks back from the submit day one year ago. Some time periods give the null.
This is the formula being used:
AGO("SR Measures"."SR Totals", "Dim SR Submit Date"."SR Submit Date".year, 1)
Client also has another formula tallying a different field going back one year that also produces null data for these certain time periods. They both use the same date hierarchy.
