Cannot Register a Planning Application with Shared Services

Symptoms

Unable to register a newly created Planning application (EPMA or Classic) with Shared Services.

From 'Workspace' -> 'Planning Administration', 'ognl\OgnlException' error displayed.

 

NOTE: If using an alternative method to register a newly created application, e.g: deployment from EPMA, the error is readily identifiable in the 'HyS9Planning-syserr.log' in the '%MIDDLEWARE_HOME%\user_projects\epmsystem1\diagnostics\services' folder.
