OBIEE Dashboard URL Navigation Displays Global Header When Refresh Selected (Doc ID 1611148.1)

Goal

When navigating to OBIEE Analytics using a dashboard URL then the Global Header bar is not initially displayed.

The global header bar contains links to "Administration, Advanced and Help" depending on the user privileges.

However when the dashboard is displayed and the "Page Options" button is selected and the “Refresh” option then the global header is incorrectly displayed.

The initial dashboard URL includes the parameters “&PortalPages&PortalPath=” and “&Done=close” as in the following example URL:

http://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/analytics/saw.dll?PortalPages&PortalPath=/users/<USERNAME>/Dashboard&Page=page 1&Done=close

How can the Global Header not be displayed to users as it gives access to advanced features?
