We noticed that, when using dimension members that contains the "&" character inside (not trailing "&" but strings like "C&&&01"), when launching rules that have a parameter associated to that particular dimension, the system generates an error and the rule cannot be launched. The first time one launches the rule the error does not verify, but if it selects a member, launches the rule, the rule completes and then after some time one opens again the variable popup in order to launch the rule once again, it seems that the Planning app tries to suggest the old selection member name and not alias (as indicated by our original case), and that generates an error.
We found this error inside the Planning log file:
