The EPM Configurator deploy web application to new Managed Servers instead of existing Managed Servers (Doc ID 1624359.1)

Symptoms

After installing certain patches, while running the Configurator to redeploy to the Application Servers as required, it is creating new Managed Servers instead of using the existing ones.

For example when redeploying Foundation Services, it has created a new Managed Server FoundationServices1 instead of using FoundationServices0.

This happened with Planning and Calc manager as well.
