Symptoms

You have installed OBIEE 11g to run against an Essbase database.  You clone Essbase.  Now when you run a report in OBIEE, you see the following error:

Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW).
 Error Details
Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. [nQSError: 96002] Essbase Error: HTTP communication failed with error [Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates] (HY000)

 Checking the log files, you see the following error in console-coreapplication_obis1, sawlog.log and NQServer log:

[46172] Database security store is not available, do not re-associate to this provider type.
nqsserver: Clustered Oracle BI Server (64-bit) started. Version: 11.1.1.7.1.
[Fri Mar 14 05:59:59 2014]Local////Error(1040048) HTTP communication failed with error [Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates]
