In Financial Reporting (FR) reports certain fonts are not used in PDFs generated by FR Print Engine 11.1.2.2  and 11.1.2.3.

Changes

If the fonts were installed on the server after FR was configured, it may be necessary to run the EPMSystem11R1\products\financialreporting\bin\FRPrintServerUtility.cmd on the FR Web App Servers to refresh the font listing in the xdo.cfg file used by the FR Print Engine.

For Financial Reporting, install the fonts that are used when designing a report in Financial Reporting Studio on the server that is hosting the Financial Reporting Java web application server. Because PDF generation can now be run on a UNIX server, the fonts used in report design in Financial Reporting Studio must be available on the Financial Reporting Java web application server, otherwise, the default system font on the Financial Reporting Studio Java web application server is used and results are not as expected. Only True Type fonts are supported; open source fonts are not supported.
