Purpose

The Error Correction Support Policy gives the rules and guidelines for Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) to coordinate releases and time schedules based on the availability of patches and bug fixes.


Oracle strongly recommends that you plan ahead for upgrading or migrating to Oracle Analytics Cloud or the latest version of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) on-premises version that are within an active Error Correction Support (ECS) period.  This is critical to ensure that you can receive all necessary patches and bug fixes, and continue to receive full assistance from both Support and Development when necessary.

 

Scope

 

Important: The Lifetime Support Policy (LSP) provides Premier and Extended Support dates on the terminal release only
