OBIEE 11g: Folders with "Traverse" Privilege are Visible in SmartView (Doc ID 1675997.1)

Symptoms

Traverse privileges does not apply in SmartView connections.

In example :

  1. Create a shared Folder ABC in Answers and provided Traverse privilege.
  2. This folder is no longer visible to the respective user who has traverse privilege.
  3. Access the same folder using SmartView client, this ABC folder can be seen.


What should have happened?
--------------------------
The folder ABC should not be visible even in Smart View.

What actually did happen?
-------------------------
Folder ABC was visible from Smart View.
