OBIA 11.1.1.7.1: Questions on Few HR Source Domains

Goal
We have OBIA 11.1.1.7.1 installed with ODI 11g and on Oracle 11g Database.
As part of Configuration for OBIA, we ran the Domain Loads for HR Analytics (Sourcing from PeopleSoft HCM 9.0) using OBIA 11.1.1.7.1
However, we still see that many of the HR Analytics Target Domains are non-extensible! We need to extend some of the Target domains (add members and thereby map with the Source domain members).
We are unable to use sync-to-source option in the Domain Mappings.
Questions on few HR Source Domains, whether Sync to Source feature is required for configuring the following source domains?
- W_FULL_TIME_FLG
- Performance document type
- PAY_BALANCE
- Performance rating
- Visa Permit Type
- Source Disability Category
- Employee Category
- Source Employment Category
- Source Highest Degree
- Source Highest Degree
- Source Job Function
- Source Language
