BI Apps 11.1.1.8.1 Accounted And Costed On Hand Amount (Inventory) Is Missing (Doc ID 1905967.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2018

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Applications Consumer - Version 11.1.1.8.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Background:

You have configured Procurement and Manufacturing analytics 11.1.1.8.1 against Oracle EBS R12.2 data source. Both EBS and OBIA servers are in the OMCS cloud. You are facing data issues when extracting data using the vanilla mappings.

Details:

When pulling Accounted Onhand Amount and Costed Onhand Amount from Costing - Inventory valuation subject area, these fields are null. On further investigation, it is found that this is due to the fact that in the OOTB mappings (for example SDE_ORA_CSTOnhandAccountedDailyFact.W_CST_ONHAND_ACC_DAILY_FS_SQ_COST_UNION), the amount is calculated by multiplying Quantity * Cost. Cost is derived from cst_item_costs table, which is a Discrete Manufacturing table and thus returns null.
