OBIEE 11g Action Link Set on a Column and "Save As The System-wide Default" Is Not Working (Doc ID 1923125.1)

Symptoms

Under Column Properties, the Interaction tab, you have set up an Action Link.  Choosing to "Save As System Wide Default..." for the column.  The Action Link is not saved and the link is not used in the analysis. 

Changes

 This was working in the 10g release but after upgrading to 11.1.1.7.0 it no longer works.
