OBIEE 11g Sort Order not Working when Using Hierarchy Column (Doc ID 1924905.1)

Symptoms

In OBIEE Answers, when you mix hierarchy columns with attribute columns that make up the hierarchy, the sort order of the corresponding attribute columns does not work.

Here is an example of using the Sample Sales Lite .

  1. Create such an analysis.
    • "Time"."Time Hierarchy"
    • "Time".Per Name Year"
    • "Base Facts".Revenue"
  2. Set the sort of "Per Name Year" column to DESC
  3. Per Name Year" NOT WORKING in the results
