SmartView Planning Connection: 'Set Alias Table' Not Working As Expected (Doc ID 1950617.1)

Symptoms

In SmartView, users create Ad-Hoc grids using the Planning connection and work with the data, but, when they want to change the member name to 'Alias' choosing the 'Set Alias Table', the option seems not to be working.

In Smartview right click and choose ‘Set alias table’ to change member name to alias

Previous alias table was not selected as shown above. Now select ‘Default’ alias table, but, after retrieval, no changes are shown in sheet. It still shows member name as below.
