Smart View v11.1.2.5.x: After Session Has Expired, Users Not Able to Reconnect (Doc ID 1953791.1)

Symptoms

After a Smart View Session times out, users are being prompted to re-login. When the user does that, they may get an error message "user access error to the requested resource". Users are not able to reconnect to the cube. This issue occurs more frequently when using APS in a clustered environment or using Siteminder SSO.
