Error Occurs When Updating A Reviewer In Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM): "User has not been assigned the appropriate role" (Doc ID 1958713.1)

Symptoms

When trying to update the reviewer for an ARM profile.  Highlight the desired profile, expand the Actions pane in the left-hand panel, populate the Add/Set User section with the applicable username and information, and click Apply, then Yes.  Instead of committing the change, an error is thrown: "User has not been assigned the appropriate role".  The selected user is properly provisioned in Shared Services with the Reviewer role.
