OBIEE 11g - Smart View "Logon Error" for Some Users but not All (Doc ID 1960723.1)

Symptoms


Users who are NOT members of a certain privileges group can NOT log in to Smart View. However, these users can log into OBIEE.

In this case, users who are in the Presentation Server Administrator group can log in to Smart View and use it but others not in Presentation Server Administrators group can NOT.

Log files show

BISvsInvokerBase:OBI-01101 : Invalid user name and/or password
OBIEE:Access denied. Check "Access SOAP" privilege.
