OBIA 7964 Informatica: How To Turn-off SSL (Doc ID 1970019.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 31, 2017

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Applications Consumer - Version 7.9.6.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

OBIA 7964 with Informatica 9.1.0 HF 2

Is there an "infacmd.sh" or GUI command to turn https off?

Symptoms:

In your Informatica tomcat server, SSL was enabled. In the config file, nodemeta.xml, you are seeing the following:

<httpsInfo imx:id="ID_3" xsi:type="domainservice:HttpsInfo" encryptedKeystorePass="OkL%2FgA%2FQj%2BcTo9WISooYtQ%3D%3D" httpsPort="8443" keystoreFile="%2Fusr%2Fobi%2FETL%2FInformatica%2Ftomcat%2Fconf%2FDefault.keystore"/>

When you login to your Informatica website, it redirects you automatically from http to https, and then indicates that the certificate is invalid.
