There may be times when you need to determine if your client installation is 32-bit or 64-bit for various reasons (patch, connectivity client installations such as ODBC, Oracle database, Essbase/Financial Management, other database native clients); therefore, the goal of this document is to provide information on how to determine if the installed Client Administration Tool is 32-bit or 64-bit.
You may have multiple versions of the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE ) client tools installed. You may have 32-bit and/or 64-bit versions installed.
Typically, by default:
- 32-bit versions are installed in local drive:\Program Files (x86)
- 64-bit versions are installed in local drive:\Program Files
However, the client tool installer allows for one to change the default installation location; therefore, the client tools may be installed in a different location.
