11g Unable To Start Existing Discoverer Managed Server After Applying Solaris OS Specific Updates

After application of some Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit) version 11 OS specific patches on a system with an existing FMW 18.104.22.168.0 Portal, Forms, Reports, Discoverer installation, the Admin Server and Node Manager start fine. However, unable to start the Managed Servers (WLS_DISCO) either from command line or from the Weblogic Server Admin Console. The following error is seen in the log:
No other error messages appear.
