When running BI Publisher reports that are pulling data through the RPD data source, NQSserver.exe appears to spawn massively parallel SQL statements in the database, sometime 32 parallel server processes for a single SQL.
This overloads the database server, because when four or five BI Publisher reports are running at the same time, there are then more than 150 user processes which the system cannot accommodate.
How can these parallel SQLs be stopped?
