Error 500--Internal Server Error and unable to start Analytics

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Error 500--Internal Server Error is known to come from Application Server. In such instances it is suggested to contact weblogic support for additional help. Here it was noticed that the error was produced in Analytics itself as the webcatalog could not be validated.


When putting in the URL for Analytics in the browser the following error is presented:

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

sawlog0.log show the following error message:

Running the opmnctl status command showed all the components up & running except the Presentation Services
