Oracle Discoverer - Version 11.1.1.2.0 to 11.1.1.7.0 [Release 11g]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
You want to install Discoverer 11.1.1.2.0 on Oracle Linux(OL) / RHEL 6.x and then upgrade to Discoverer 11.1.1.7.0 which is supported on RHEL 6.x.
But while installing Fusion Middleware(FMw) / Discoverer 11.1.1.2.0 on OL / RHEL 6.x, it is failing at te Prerequisite Checks, since Discoverer 11.1.1.2.0 is not certified on RHEL 6.x.
So how do you install Fmw/Discoverer 11.1.1.2.0 and then 11.1.1.7.0 on OL / RHEL 6.x ?
