Symptoms

Informatica 9.1 Administrator does not open. It fails to respond and displays a blank login page. Different browsers give the same result

Error in Node Log: 

[Thread 6 of 6 in DomainServiceThreadPool] [SPC_10013] Process for service _AdminConsole failed to start.

The following error is seen in catalina.out:

Starting Tomcat on HTTP port 6008.

SEVERE: Error initializing endpoint
java.net.BindException: Address already in use:6009
