The exchange rates being extracted from Oracle EBS 12.1.3, through the ODI ETL mapping SDE_ORA_EXCHANGERATEGENERAL_COMPRESS, are causing duplicate records to be created.
The issue is related to the snippet of the the EBS query that pulls the GL daily rates. The variable XRATE_UPD_NUM_DAY is currently set at 30.
FROM APPS.GL_DAILY_RATES GL_DAILY_RATES
WHERE (1 = 1)
AND (GL_DAILY_RATES.CONVERSION_DATE > SYSDATE - #BIAPPS.XRATE_UPD_NUM_DAY
If the exchange rates for a given currency pair are the same for consecutive days, the query could cause the same exchange rate for a given exchange date to get created from multiple Start and End Dates.
