OBI reports are writing to /var/tmp even after steps in OBIEE 11g: Error: "Cannot Create Domain" During Installation After Recently Uninstalling (Doc ID 1474782.1) as well as the following additional steps:
1. Redirect /var/tmp under a different/new disk which has more space
Create a soft link from /var/tmp to another directory with sufficient space.
2. Have UNIX system administrator to schedule/set up CRON jobs to remove the files under /var/tmp frequently.
3. Change environment variable TMPDIR to another directory with sufficient space and bounce the Server
After further testing, we have determined temp files are written to two different locations during an export. How can one prevent OBIEE's temp files from writing to /var/tmp during an Export?
