Accessing Embedded Template removes Edit rights during session
An administrator can successfully “Open” a “Base Template”, and manage the tasks associated with it. They follow the click path of : Manage --> Templates --> [Select Template] --> Open. This opens a “Task List” with the tasks associated with that template. If an administrator double-clicks a task, they can “Edit” the tasks associated with it.
When an administrator “Open” an “Embedded Template” following the same path, it opens a Task lists with the consolidated list of tasks associated with the children templates. When an administrator double-clicks a task, they can only “View” the tasks associated with it. This is understandable – tasks should be edited only within the “Base Template”.
However, in the same session (after accessing the tasks within an Embedded Template), if an administrator tries to “Open” a “Base Template” following the same click path – once they access the “Task List”, when an administrator double-clicks a task, they can only “View” the tasks associated with that “Base Template”.
In order to administer/edit a template again, the user most log-out and log-in again.
