OBIEE 11g - "Failed to apply Repository information" When Configuring a Shared Repository (RPD) for a Clustered Installation (Doc ID 2057900.1)

Symptoms

You attempt to share a repository (RPD) , and receive the following error when you try to apply the changes:

"Failed to apply Repository information".

In the emoms.trc, there is error as:
