OBIEE 11g - Images (with FMAP And Biserver.variables) Are Not Getting Exported To Excel Or PDF (Doc ID 2065662.1)

Symptoms

When Exporting a Dashboard Page with an image to Excel where the image has a session variable in the path, like

fmap:images/report_@{biServer.variables['NQ_SESSION.cse_var']}.jpg

• In 11.1.1.7.141014
  • When exporting to Excel you get an error in the browser , the excel file is not generated

A fatal error occurred while processing the request. The server responded
with: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: <Line 36, Column 59>: XML-20126: (Fatal
Error) '<' cannot appear in attribute value..
