Symptoms

Changes

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a table in backend database that has the Refresh Date column.

  2. Create a init block in RPD that queries the above Refresh Date column and populates a Repository variable, for example, 'LAST_REFRESH_DATE'. Set the refresh interval as 1 min.

  3. Create a sample report in BI and use the following statement in the sub title section of 'Title View'.

      Data Last Refreshed: @{biServer.variables['LAST_REFRESH_DATE']}

  4. Check the Date in title view in the results.

  5. Update the date in the backend table to a different date.

  6. Refresh the report to see of the date changes. It should still show the old date in title view.

  7. Sign out and sign in and run the report again. This time the title view shows the new date.
