Symptoms

You are configuring your OBIEE 11g (11.1.1.9.0) environment with users configured in a Microsoft Active Directory (LDAP) for authentication and a database using BISQLGroupProvider for authorization.

You have configured the same setup in OBIEE 11g (11.1.1.7.0) and it works as documented.

On OBIEE 11.1.1.7 you see the groups retrieved in Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control, whereas in OBIEE 11.1.1.9, the groups are not displaying in FMw Control. The groups do display in Weblogic Console.
