OBIEE 11g | 12c: Is It Possible To Make the Non Primary (Secondary) Nodes Reflect the Online Changes In the Repository Without a restart In a Cluster Environment?
(Doc ID 2129146.1)

Applies to:
Business Intelligence Server Enterprise Edition - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In a clustered (scaled out) Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) environment, the below scenario is noticed:
- On making changes to the repository (RPD) in online mode, the changes do not reflect in the RPDs of the non-primary/secondary nodes.
- For the changes to reflect in the RPD of non-primary (secondary) node(s) a restart of the BI Services on the respective node(s) is required.
- Same behavior is noticed even if READ_ONLY_MODE is set to NO in the repository.
Is it possible to make the non-primary (secondary) nodes reflect the online changes in the repository, without the necessity of a restart of the respective nodes?
