OBIEE 11g: Analysis With Images Export To Excel With Bad Formatting (Doc ID 2160684.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 11, 2019

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

1) There are many reports in our application that have images in them.
2) When downloaded these reports into excel 2007 + , we found that the columns are skewed and the formatting is off. Sometimes the images don't exactly come up in the same cell block like the report is displayed.
3) the numbers that also have images beside them in reports appear as # and we need to expand the columns in excel to see the numbers.
4) In other cases where we have 2 different numbers within each cell of the result set in the report, after download, even though it appears as a single cell, they are 2 different columns physically in the excel sheet. E.g. if I have a revenue number and it's variance showing in one single block in the report, in the excel, I can click on those numbers as if they belong to 2 different columns.

Started using Export to MS Excel 2007+
