Symptoms
EPM System is configured using SQL Server Windows Authentication in a distributed environment with Essbase set up as an Active-Passive cluster. Essbase fails to start.
The Lease Manager log (leasemanager_essbase_xxx.log) shows the error:

[2016-07-07T14:40:32.177+03:00] [ESSBASE0] [NOTIFICATION:16] [LM-1] [LM] [ecid: <ECID>,0] [tid: <TID>] Failed to acquire the lease after [6] consecutive attempts.
