OBIEE 12c: Query Logging Level for User does not Work in OBIEE 12.2.1.0 (Doc ID 2175402.1)

Symptoms

Query Logging set up using Oracle BI Administration Tool does not work on 12.2.1.0.x.

  1. In the Oracle BI Administration Tool, select Manage, then Identity.
  2. The Identity Manager dialog is displayed.
  3. Double-click the name of the user for which you want to set the query logging level.
  4. The User dialog is displayed.
  5. Set the logging level by clicking the Up or Down arrows next to the Logging Level field.
  6. Set the logging level to 2.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Save and check in the RPD changes.
  9. Restart the obis1.
  10. Open Analytics and run an analysis
  11. Nothing is written to obis1-query.log.

This issue is fixed or does not reproduce on 12.2.1.1.0.
