OBIEE 11g: Login to Analytics fails with Error 'SSL Routines:SSL23_WRITE:ssl Handshake Failure:s23_lib.c:184' (Doc ID 2180183.1)

Symptoms

After configuring SSL with OBIEE, no one can login to analytics and the login page can't be displayed.

saw.log reports below error:

Unable to login to analytics: SSL routines:SSL23_WRITE:ssl handshake failure:s23_lib.c:184


Tried the below steps, but issue persists
1. The SSL keystore is validated and the chain is valid by running below commands:
           keytool -list -keystore OBIEEKS.jks -storepass ****
             java utils.ValidateCertChain -jks obieeks OBIEEKS.jks
2. The weblogic console is accessible through SSL (https://xxx.com:7002/console)
3. The test of "Run SSL Reports" from EM  ran successfully for all components except the Presentation service which gave "SSL Ping Failed"

Issue is not happening in Solaris 10 environment but happening in Solaris 11
