Symptoms

You've launched Microsoft Excel and you're attempting to connect to SDM from Smart View panel. An error appears: "Unable to Connect to Provider". Smart View is successfully able to connect to other EPM programs, such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, Financial Close Management (FCM) and Reporting And Analysis.
