OBIA Multi source Absence Event Fact Is Not Populated From the 2nd Source Onwards (Doc ID 2189332.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Applications Consumer - Version 11.1.1.10.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

While configuring HR Analytics by extracting data from 9 EBS instances, the Absence Event Fact (W_ABSENCE_EVENT_F) is not getting populated from the 2nd source onwards. It is observed that the data is not getting populated into W_ABSENCE_EVENT_EQ_TMP table from the 2nd source. It is because of below filter conditions in SIL_AbsenceEventFact_EventQueue.W_ABSENCE_EVENT_EQ_TMP_SQ_W_ABSENCE_EVENT_DS interface has below filter conditions which is causing issue when we executed the ETL for 2nd source onwards..

W_ABSENCE_EVENT_DS.CHANGED_ON_DT > TO_DATE_VAR('#LAST_EXTRACT_DATE')

W_ABSENCE_EVENT_D.W_UPDATE_DT <= TO_DATE_VAR('#LAST_EXTRACT_DATE')

And the variable LAST_EXTRACT_DATE is picking date on which 1st source has executed.
