OBIEE 11g: Error "The protocol version requested is recognized but not supported" During SSL Configuration

Symptoms

On Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE): 11g version, Analytics

While configuring SSL, when trying to connect from Console to nodemanager status of nodemanager is showing as Inactive.

Following Error is encountered during SSL configuration

Uncaught exception in server handlerjavax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: FATAL Alert:PROTOCOL_VERSION - The protocol version requested is recognized but not supported.

Changes

The content of nodemanager.properties file was updated as below.

KeyStores=CustomIdentityAndCustomTrust
CustomIdentityKeyStoreFileName=/obieeapp/Middleware/Cert/SSL.jks
CustomIdentityAlias=de08u8401.dce.honeywell.com
CustomIdentityPrivateKeyPassPhrase={3DES}d1T9eKoojm+74IeG9+wfaQ==
CustomTrustKeyStoreFileName=/obieeapp/Middleware/Cert/SSL.jks
CustomIdentityKeyStorePassPhrase={3DES}d1T9eKoojm+74IeG9+wfaQ==

Enabled SSL port on Weblogic Admin console.
