OBIEE 11g: sDisplayName for Action Link does Not Change In the XML Even When Action Link is Updated (Doc ID 2194274.1)

Symptoms

Adding an action link on dashboard page and setting BI Content that you want to navigate to, you will see the page name (e.g "page2") of the BI content is referenced in several places.  After updating the BI Content of action link to another one (e.g "page3"), the value of sDisplayName in XML is not updated.

  1. Add an action link to the dashboard page and set BI Content (e.g "page2") from the catalog.
  2. Open Catalog Manager and double click the dashboard page to check xml of action link.
  3. Edit action link properties and change BI content which you want to navigate to another page (e.g page 3) and save it.
  4. Open Catalog Manager and double click the dashboard page, you will find that the value of sDisplayName is not updated as following:
